How Digital Life Certificate Canada collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Digital Life Certificate Canada, operated by Manoj Walia, is committed to protecting your privacy. We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada federal privacy law.
We collect: Name, phone number, email, city/province; PPO number, dept name, bank account/IFSC; Aadhaar number (used only during biometric session — never stored); Appointment and service data; Basic website analytics.
We use your personal information solely to: process your Jeevan Pramaan submission; schedule and confirm appointments; communicate about your service status; send reminders with your consent; improve our services. We do NOT use it for advertising or profiling.
Your Aadhaar number and biometric data are processed ONLY through the official Government of India Jeevan Pramaan application and transmitted directly to UIDAI servers. We do NOT store, copy, or transmit your biometric data on any of our devices or systems.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share only with Government of India pension systems as required to complete your submission; with service providers under confidentiality agreements; when required by Canadian or Indian law.
We retain basic appointment and contact records for up to 2 years after your last service. Biometric and Aadhaar data is never retained. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
You have the right to: access personal information we hold; correct inaccurate information; withdraw consent; request deletion; file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
